American Gold Star Mothers

Gold Star mothers, women entitled to display a gold star on a service flag, due to being the mother of a son or daughter that died during active service in the United States military during a period of war or hostilities in which the Armed Forces of the United States were engaged. Blue Star Mothers

BSM is a private nonprofit organization in the United States that provides support for mothers who have sons or daughters in active service in the U.S. Armed Forces. It was originally formed during World War II.

Our survivor programs and resources put you in touch with others who understand your grief and provide the support and care you need. You’re never alone with your TAPS family.

S.O.S. –  Survivor Outreach Services

Survivor Outreach Services is part of the Army Casualty Continuum of Care. It’s designed to provide long-term support to surviving Families of Fallen Soldiers. Our goal is to reassure Survivors that they remain valued members of the Army Family.
